Most products are sourced locally and all dishes are naturally freshly prepared. You can look forward to khachapuri, khinkali, satsivi, mtsvad, badrijani nigvzit and much more.
Our guests thus have the opportunity to experience Georgian cuisine, which not only pampers the palate but also offers an insight into the country's rich cultural tradition.

Visa & currency

A straightforward country to travel
Georgia grants visa-free access to citizens of many countries for a certain period of time. This includes many European countries, the USA, Canada and many more. It is advisable to check this in advance.
The official currency is the Georgian Lari. You can easily withdraw money from ATMs on arrival. Credit cards are accepted in many hotels, restaurants and stores in larger cities. However, it is advisable to always have some cash with you, especially in rural areas.
Georgia is a straightforward country to travel to. However, always observe the current regulations and inform yourself about any changes at the foreign office before you travel.
How to get
Local Transportation
Renting a car is a popular option to explore Georgia's breathtaking scenery on your own. International car rental companies are readily available in major cities and at the airport. However, be aware of road conditions, especially in remote areas.
Cabs are readily available in the cities and offer a convenient way to get around. Tbilisi also has modern ride services such as Uber and Bolt.
No matter which mode of transportation you choose, you can be sure that you will enjoy Georgia's hospitality and the country's fascinating diversity to the fullest.

Communication

Communication & internet
Georgia offers a modern and well-developed internet and telecommunications infrastructure that makes it easy for travelers to stay connected. With wide coverage of mobile networks and free Wi-Fi in many public areas, visitors can easily go online. Numerous local providers also offer prepaid SIM cards for cell phones, allowing travelers to communicate flexibly and cost-effectively. Internet cafés can be found in most cities and tourist areas, and many accommodations offer high-speed internet access to ensure you can always stay connected.
Of course, free internet access is also available to guests at the Riders Lodge. We recommend that our guests purchase a MAGTICOM Sim Card at the airport so that they can also be reached outside the lodge.
Safety
Safety First
With regard to the mandatory safety equipment, an avalanche backpack, avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel and first aid are of course essential. The appropriate equipment must be provided by the participants themselves. There is a small but very high-quality stock of rental equipment available on site for a fee. However, this should be discussed with us before arrival.
It is not only our experienced ski guides who are responsible for safety on the mountain, but also every guest.
